Karate

Introduction
In Saint Gabriel's Secondary School, our karate members comprise of students from secondary one to five. In general, our members learn karate as a form of unarmed martial art for self-defence and combat. The movements in karate can be aggressive, but it is generally trained and practised as a form of self-defence. Practising karate can help our members to attain physical fitness and mental discipline; as it consists of stretching, body conditioning, blocking, punching, striking, kicking, throwing and meditation.
